Released: May 2015

This is not hip-hop," the self-described "Fairly Local" Columbus, Ohio duo warns early on, but maybe that's part of the joke. Rapid-fire delivery on "Heavydirtysoul" aside, nobody would confuse this quirky, hyperactive synth act for hip-hop. Throwing everything they've got against the studio wall, from cheap ukulele to even cheaper Casio, it's 14 tracks of fake patois, a few fun singles, and faux-confessional lyrical turns (sample: "Scared of my own image/ Scared of my own immaturity/ Scared of my own ceiling"). Standout cut? The piano-led power pop of "Tear in My Heart.
