Songs From St. Somewhere

Jimmy Buffett

Released: Aug 2013
Label: Mailboat Records
Jimmy Buffett returns to port, and he brings with him Songs From St. Somewhere, the 29th full-length of the troubadour's long (and margarita-soaked) career. Boasting tunes such as "Einstein Was A Surfer," "Earl's Dead - Cadillac For Sale" and "Oldest Surfer On The Beach," it is yet another witty and oftentimes tender collection, one that, like a frilly tropical cocktail, mixes numerous flavors, including rock, country, reggae and folk. The country vibe is most potent on the hilariously titled "Too Drunk To Karaoke," a twanger that features Buffett trading lines with Nashville pal Toby Keith.
